Mini Haul: American Eagle & Body Central
I feel that the weather getting warmer is a great excuse to go shopping for some new spring clothes. One trend I’m loving right now is crop tops, they’re super cute and comfortable. I found a few cute crop tops at American Eagle and bought a few of my favorite layering tanks from Body Central. The tanks from Body Central come in one size which may not sound very promising, but trust me they are amazing! They also have a bit of a slimming effect thanks to the combination of nylon and spandex that they are made of.
Here’s what I purchased:
$20 - ae.com
$7.90 - bodyc.com
$25 - ae.com
$10 - ae.com

Just wanted to share a few of my new items :) It’s not much but it’s a start to my springtime wardrobe.
Have a great week everyone!
Fun Spring Trend: Pastel Hair Color
Maybe it’s a case of spring fever, but I’m loving this trend. It’s subtle, not screaming “LOOK! MY HAIR IS A CRAZY COLOR!”
I think a light lavender color looks awesome on blonde hair, so I decided to try this trend out for myself using a few of my extra i-tip extensions. Below are the products I used:

Beauty Army Review
I got my Beauty Army kit about a week ago :) I’ve been waiting to do this review until I got a chance to really test out all the products.
Here’s what I thought of my kit:

1. SunFX Summer’s Secret – This is a moisturizer that slowly builds a tan over the course of a few days. I thought it smelled really good, kind of like a tanning lotion. It did not break me out or make my skin too oily, and I could see a “glow” start to build after about 3 days of using it. Overall I was pleased with the results.
2. Cover FX Eye Prep – This did make my eye shadow last a lot longer than the primer I normally use. It has a good consistency, not too thin and not too thick. I’m liking it so far.
3. Freeman Beauty Pssssst Instant Dry Shampoo – I was shocked at how much more I like this dry shampoo than the one I had used before. The smell is not too overwhelming like some others I’ve tried, and it’s really good to use in between shampoos to freshen up your ‘do.
4. Joico K-Pak RevitaLuxe – Love Joico, love the K-Pak line, and love this treatment. It made my hair feel silky, shiny and manageable. I would definitely recommend this to anyone.

5. Indie Lee, The Shampoo – This left my hair super soft and conditioned and I liked the smell. Also, it didn’t weigh my hair down or make it look flat which is a plus.
So basically I’m super happy with the samples I got this month. My favorite of all would probably be the Joico RevitaLuxe because it made my hair feel great. Visit www.beautyarmy.com and sign up to get your own! :)
